Indie is such a sweet girl. Though she never made it to the show ring due to a combination of her not enjoying the show world and a horse related injury that affected her gait for a year, she is a beautiful dog. Indie is a smaller (though well within the standard) female with a beautiful head and great personality. She is a wonderful pet, she made a good farm dog with a medium herding drive. She is very useful in rounding up chickens and retreiving horses from the far end of the pasture. She is very enthusiastic about everything and always ready to go. Her favorite past-times include frisbee and swimming. Her temperment is very good and she loves to hug though she will bark at the new person for a minute. Indie is a very smart and sensitive dog who also can be really stubborn. She figures things out quickly and can get her feeling hurt. She loves all her family members but she is also the type that really bonds to one person. Recently we have found that she is a wonderful mother! Indie has had her hips and eyes (CERF 2011) cleared.
